Folk Art Uncle Sam Piece

P02

Fun combination of objects. The Uncle Sam head is a hand painted composition World War Two era patriotic salt shaker. The twisted rubber fire truck of the same period was found washed up on a Brooklyn, NY beach.  Originally, Donald Duck was the driver, but his head was long ago lost. Together, these pieces make a pleasing combination. They are displayed in a C1900 mahogany cigar box. A pleasing group.
