Unique folk art double sided advertising sign. Designed as a spare wheel cover. After the original side became road worn a second sign was painted on the back. Fantastic weathered surface patina. The Keokuk Medicine Company operated from the early 1900s through the early 1940s. This home made sign likely was used on one of their traveling salesman’s cars during the Depression. A fun piece of early Americana.
