Incredibly rare Indian Territory sign. This section (along with two others) of a much larger sign was discovered in Caddo, Oklahoma when an old barn was being dismantled. They were found inside the walls of the barn. The best condition section was donated to the Caddo Museum. A view of that section has been provided by the museum. Note that the museum’s section must have been much better insulated from the elements than the one being offered here, which is weathered with a superb old dry untouched surface. The final section is not currently available. What a fantastic historical relic from the frontier west. Signs of this vintage and scarcity are rarely available outside of private collections. This is a fantastic fresh to the market find.
