Fantastic roadside advertising sign for HURLBUT BROS. MOTORCYLES SALES & SERVICE. Rest of sign reads “1 MILE NORTH (arrow) ON 8.” This is Highway 8 in Southern Nebraska, not too far from where the sign was discovered. Awesome untouched weathered surface on this amazing survivor. Hand painted on heavy gauge sheet metal.  Great looking sign that is even cooler because of the rare subject matter. You won’t ever see another.

 

Date: 1930s-1940s.

 

Size: 36″  x  23 1/4″  x  5/8″ flange on top and bottom.
