18th Century Carved Pine Ladle

Great looking large wooden ladle. Carved from a single piece of pine, with an especially deep bowl. Hooked handle designed to keep ladle from slipping into a pot or bucket. Riddled with old worm holes – possibly ship used. A nice early primitive example.
Date: 1700-1800.
Size: 16″ long. Bowl is about 6″ x 5″ x 3″ deep.
Condition: Aged expected use wear. Few old age splits. Above mentioned old worm holes. Please see photos for details.
