18C Wrought Iron Turner

Outstanding wrought iron “turner.” Great looking twisted iron hanging loop. This was a wonderful multi-purpose kitchen tool during the colonial period. It could be used as a spatula, a cutter, a scraper and for brazing or searing. The keyhole design was common throughout the 18th century. This is a great large example.
