Great looking hand painted doctor’s sign, along with a pair of associated diplomas. The thin sheet metal sign has it’s original untouched patina. Fantastic group that has managed to stay together to tell a bit more about the doctor and his sign than is usually known.

Otto John Muller, M.D. graduated from the Long Island College Hospital (NY) in 1886. In 1895, he was granted the 1st document, which is a certificate to practice medicine in the state of California. In 1910 he earned the 2nd document, which is a diploma from the California College of Optometry. Interestingly, the diploma is mounted on the back of a royal portrait.
