Unusual cast iron Fraternal grave marker for a member of the Rebekah Lodge, which was the lady’s lodge of the Odd Fellows. Wonderfully detailed design with numerous fraternal symbols, including a flying dove, , an “R,” a star embellished crescent and a lily with the stem entwined through the three rings (representing friendship, loyalty and truth). Great old crusty surface. A rarely seen Victorian Fraternal grave marker.
Date: 1860-1880.
