Group of Four 18C Wood Mashers
Z25, F162
Outstanding assembled group of four mashers. Hand turned, each made from a different wood: Walnut, Oak, Maple and Cherry (1st pic). Unusually early examples. Uncommon forms. All with fantastic undisturbed patinas. Each weighs about one to one and a half pounds. As a group they take on a sculpture-like quality. A superb collection.
