Folk Art Hearts Stand
J13
Wonderful quirky folk art stand. Solid pine. The entire design appears to have been done with a single punch tool. Lots of tapping to create this visual masterpiece that is highlighted by the two sets of fours hearts on both the top and base. Likely originally fitted with glass ashtrays and a decorative handle on top. The underside of the base has several signatures in cursive that are not entirely decipherable. Also, “BILL” and “GENE” and a heart, and some sort of design. Fantastic untouched finish with nice old surface patina. Found in SW Missouri. A really cool and unique piece.
