Fantastic inlaid mosaic box. Original felt label indicates the box was made by the Rockwood Mfg. Company of Monrovia, California, using its patented “Rockwood Process for Manufacturing Mosaic Wood Work.” Decorative chromed hinges and latch. Silk lined interior. What a cool and interesting piece.
Date: early 1900’s.
Size: 11 1/4″ x 5″ x 2 7/8″.
Condition: Overall excellent with minor aging and wear. Very slight warp to lid.
