Lovely paper mache snuff box. Inlaid pewter and mother of pearl squares in a geometric pattern. Inlaid pewter wire border. Great old surface patina. Heavy body wear from years of use adds to the character of this nearly two-century old object.
Date: Early 19th century.
Size: 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ x 7/8″.
Condition: Heavy use wear. A few missing pewter squares. Lid closes flat, but does not shut tightly.
