Superb 18th century balance scale. Crafted from twelve individual pieces of wrought iron. Attractive flowing design with a set of double hooks for game or baskets. Top of the balance arm is embellished with a cross-hatch pattern. Great old untouched surface on this choice primitive example.
Date: 1750 – 1800.
