Excellent cast and wrought iron 100 pound balance scale. Stamped, “N. CUSTER,” for Nathanial Custer, who was listed in the 1870 Philadelphia census as a “scale maker.” Super original painted surface with pin striping. “PHILa Pa” on one side and “100” on the other. Weighs over 2lbs. This is a nice signed 140+ year old American scale.

Date: 1865-1875.
