Folk Art Dated 1904 Inlaid Knife

Fun folk art metalwork knife. Ebony dividers. Solid unmarked steel blade. No sheath. Nicely crafted brass handle with aluminum inlay. “F. K. 1904.” Presumably the owner’s initials. Likely made as a presentation piece. At the time of manufacture, refined aluminum was a pricy metal, more costly and less easily found than silver. This would have been a special object to its owner.

Date: 1904.

Size: 14 1/2″ long.

Condition: Overall great with expected aging and wear.
