Great wrought iron tether. Designed to screw into the ground. Traces of maker’s name on top of ring. Nice example that blends form and function to a pleasing result. Not too many of these around.
Date: 1780-1820.
Size: 16″ long.
Condition: Excellent for this type of early utilitarian object, especially one that was used in the ground.
