Sweet little gasoline sign. Hand painted green on a yellow ground. Heavy sheet metal. Wonderful old alligatored surface to the still-vibrant colors. Dates from the days when gas prices were stable enough that a painted sign was expected to last for a good long time. This is a cool survivor from the early automotive history of our country. Those WERE the days! 19 cents a gallon! Wow! A fun primitive country advertising sign.
